We believe strong tutoring starts with strong mathematical understanding. Our tutors are PhD mathematicians and experienced educators who have taught mathematics at the high-school and university levels and worked one-on-one with students.
Logan Crone
Logan taught mathematics at Phillips Exeter Academy and has also taught university mathematics as a graduate student. His experience includes one-on-one tutoring of high-school students as well as drop-in tutoring at both the university and high-school levels.
Chelsea Drescher
Chelsea taught mathematics at Phillips Exeter Academy for five years and taught at the public high-school level before graduate school. She has also taught university mathematics and worked as a mathematics tutor throughout her academic career.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does tutoring work without a traditional PEA textbook?
Because Exeter relies on problem sets rather than chapter-by-chapter textbooks, standard tutoring approaches can be inadequate. We help students dissect unformatted problem sets, spot hidden mathematical patterns, and develop the underlying theory independently.
Do you give answers to Exeter problem sets?
No. We mirror the Harkness philosophy by asking guiding questions that lead students to discover solutions on their own, ensuring they can explain their reasoning confidence at the board in class.
Do you work with students from other prep schools?
Yes. Many independent boarding and day schools use Exeter-style problem sets or integrated math curricula (such as Deerfield, Andover, or St. Paul's). Our background allows us to support any problem-based math program.

Policies
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling a tutoring session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged for the scheduled session. If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and work with you to arrange a replacement session or refund, as appropriate.
